These are the terms of use for the racion.app website and app (“Racion”, “the service”). By using the service you agree to them. If anything here does not suit you, please do not use the service.
1. About the service
The service is free, with no subscriptions or paid features. For any questions: info@racion.app. The source code is published under AGPL-3.0 separately from the site content.
2. What the service does
Racion builds a weekly menu and a shopping list from your answers: country, store, household, restrictions, equipment, budget. Dish costs are estimated from official statistics and average store price levels — a guide, not a store offer; checkout prices will differ. Calories and macronutrients are computed from reference values and may differ from the real product.
The service is not medical advice and does not replace a doctor or dietitian. Allergen lists, “gluten-free” or “lactose-free” marks and children's menus help you choose but are not a guarantee: check the packaging before buying; with a medical condition or allergy, decide together with your doctor.
3. Account
An account stores your weeks, family and own recipes. Minimum age is 16; younger users need a parent's consent. You are responsible for your password and for what happens in your account. One person, one account. We may suspend an account for abuse: spam, circumventing limits, bulk scraping, intrusion attempts.
4. Our content and your rights to it
Recipe texts, descriptions, collections, photos, translations, the interface and the database are our work. You may use them personally and non-commercially: cook, save, print, share a link. Without our written permission you may not copy the recipe database in whole or in large parts, republish our texts and photos on other sites, apps or books, use them in advertising or paid products, or train models on them. Linking to a recipe page is welcome.
An ingredient list and a cooking method as an idea are not protected by copyright; the specific texts, photos and curated collections are. If you believe material on the site infringes your rights, write to us (section 7).
5. Your content
By adding a recipe, photo, comment or collection you confirm you have the right to do so: the text and photo are yours, or the rights holder allowed it. You grant the service a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to store, display, translate and process this content within the service — including showing it to others if you submit the recipe for publication. You keep your rights; you can delete your content in your account and withdraw a publication.
Do not upload other people's texts or photos under your name, advertising, links to third-party resources, insults or dangerous advice. Published recipes are reviewed; we may reject or unpublish without giving reasons.
6. Affiliate links
“Where to buy” and “build a cart” links may be affiliate links: if you buy through them, the service may receive a commission from the store. Your price does not change. Such links are marked as advertising where the law requires. We are not responsible for partner stores' goods, prices or delivery.
7. Complaints about content
If material on the site infringes your copyright or other rights, email info@racion.app with the page link, a description of the infringement, proof of your rights and your contact details. We reply within seven days and take the disputed material down pending review when the complaint is substantiated.
8. Liability
The service is provided “as is”. We do our best to keep it working, but do not guarantee uptime or the accuracy of prices, calories or translations. We are not liable for the consequences of using recipes and menus, for purchases from stores or for third-party content. In any case liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service — that is, zero.
9. Changes
We may change the service and these terms. Significant changes are announced on the site; the date of the last update is at the top. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new version.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the law of the Russian Federation. Users in the European Union keep the mandatory consumer protections of their country. Disputes are settled by negotiation and, failing that, in the court at the service owner's location.
