Method
Grate carrots1 coarsely
Heat milk3 with butter9 in a pan, add carrots1, and simmer for 10 minutes. Stir in semolina2, mix well, and let cool
Add sugar and egg, mixing thoroughly
Pour boiling water over raisins7 and steep for 10 minutes
Fry raisins7, finely diced apple6, and chopped walnuts8 in butter9 until golden
Shape carrot1 mixture into patties, add filling, and seal edges
Dust in flour and fry in butter9 for 3 minutes per side until crisp
