Grey rows are pantry staples: salt, oil, spices. They are not counted in the serving price.
Method
Rinse the turkey1 breast, remove any skin and fat, cut into 2–3 cm pieces, cover with 300 ml cold water, and bring to a boil; skim off any foam.
Simmer covered on low heat for 40–50 minutes until fully tender: the meat should pull apart easily, and the broth should be clear.
Blend the turkey1 with 3–5 tablespoons of warm broth until completely smooth, straining through a sieve if needed for extra fineness.
Cool until warm and check the temperature with a drop on your wrist. Introduce this new food starting with 1–2 teaspoons.
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 24 hours or freeze in portions; reheat only once.
In short
- A child's portion for ages 1–3; suitable from 6 months. For younger kids, halve it and purée.
