Quick Creamy Tomato Soup

1. 1 Canned tomatoespack 400 g ≈ $1.30 160 g

4. 4 Carrots≈ $1.50 per kg 16 g
5. 5 Cumin 3 g
6. 6 Sunflower oil 10 ml
7. 7 Tomatoes≈ $4.67 per kg 60 g

Method

1. Dice the carrot⁴, onion, and garlic³

2. Sauté in vegetable oil until golden brown

3. Sprinkle with flour and cook for 1 minute

4. Add canned¹ tomatoes⁷ (with juice) and water, bring to a boil

5. Simmer on medium heat for 20 minutes until carrots⁴ are tender

6. Blend until smooth with an immersion blender
