Method
Chop the vegetables and place them in a pot. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer covered on low heat for 20 minutes
Separate the yolks from the whites1. Mix the yolks with bran, cornstarch, cottage7 cheese, and milk10. Season lightly with salt and pepper
Whip the egg whites1 separately. Gently fold them into the yolk mixture to make a Charlotte-style batter
Grease a baking dish, sprinkle it with bran, and spread half the batter inside
Add the prepared vegetable filling. Remove any excess liquid
Cover with the remaining batter and smooth the surface
Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 5–7 minutes, then reduce the heat to 180°C (350°F) and bake for another 20–30 minutes
