Meat and Potato Soup (Russian-Style)

3. 3 Soy sauce 13 ml

Method

1. Parboil the meat in water with soy sauce, black pepper, and a bay leaf until nearly tender

2. Cut the meat into large chunks and return it to the pot

3. Peel and cut the potatoes⁵ into 4 wedges each

4. Add the potatoes⁵ to the meat

5. Chop the onion⁶ and garlic¹⁰ roughly

6. Add the onion⁶ to the meat and potatoes⁵

7. Simmer until the potatoes⁵ are fully cooked (about 30 more minutes)
