Method
Separate the yolks from the whites
Mix the yolks with softened butter4 and sugar
Stir in the oats and poppy seeds
Whip the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff peaks form
Gently fold the whites into the yolk mixture
Transfer the batter to a lined baking dish
Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 30–35 minutes, until golden and a skewer comes out clean
