Method
Mix ground1 meat, salt, black pepper, finely grated raw onion4, raw rice, and dried mint. Work it by hand until smooth and uniform.
Shape into large meatballs and drop into boiling water. Simmer until cooked through, adding a bay leaf.
Add diced potatoes3 and rice. Season with salt to taste.
Finely chop onion4 and sauté in sunflower oil until golden brown.
Stir in tomato5 paste and cook until thickened.
Add the meatballs to the soup, bring to a boil, and stir in a small piece of butter9.
Finish with fresh7 dill8 and mint. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
