Grey rows are pantry staples: salt, oil, spices. They are not counted in the serving price.
Method
Unfold the lavash on the work surface, preheat the oven to 220 °C, wash the tomato4 and slice it into rounds about 0.5 cm thick, cut the ham2 into strips about 0.5 cm thick, break the mozzarella3 into pieces 1–2 cm in size, keep oregano handy, and spread tomato5 paste over the lavash.
Spread the tomato4 paste evenly over the lavash, all the way to the edges.
Arrange the ham2, tomatoes4, olives6 and mozzarella3 over the lavash, and sprinkle oregano.
Place the tray in the hot oven and bake for 8–10 minutes until the cheese melts and the edges turn light golden.
Remove the tray from the oven, let the pizza rest for 1–2 minutes, then cut into 6–8 portions.
Serve the pizza hot, you can add greens to taste and serve with a light salad; if desired, substitute the ham2 with another ready meat ingredient, keeping the same proportions.
Tips
- Why it works
- Preheat the oven to 220 °C so the lavash crisps evenly and doesn’t stick to the tray. Lower heat makes the cheese soggy.
- Substitutions
- Use canned tuna (50g) instead of ham, or swap olives for sliced pickles (20g) if you prefer tangy crunch.
- Common mistakes
- Overbaking turns the lavash dark and bitter; check at 8 minutes. Edges should be light golden, not brown.
- Storing and reheating
- Eat fresh or within 1 day; reheat in a toaster oven for 3–4 minutes until cheese melts again.
- Serve with
- Pair with a simple cucumber-tomato salad and a glass of cold lemonade for a light, balanced dinner.
