A bowl-assembled version of a burger: ground meat, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, pickles and sauce. Buns are absent, but the texture and flavors are preserved.

Method
Wash the lettuce and rinse the tomato3 and cornichons, tear the lettuce into large pieces, dice the tomato, dice the cheese, and finely chop the onion6 for the sauce.
Heat a dry skillet over medium heat and cook the ground1 meat, breaking up lumps, for about eight minutes; season with salt and pepper to taste, until golden and crumbly.
Mix the mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard, then stir in the finely chopped cornichons and onion6 until smooth.
Tear the lettuce, add the tomato3 dice, warm ground1 meat, dice the cheese, drizzle with the sauce, and toss so every ingredient is coated.
Toast the bread cubes in a dry skillet until crisp, then sprinkle with sesame.
Top the salad with the toasted bread and serve.
