Method

1. Marinate the onion⁵ with sugar and soy sauce

2. Slice the baguette¹ in half lengthwise and scoop out the soft center

3. Fry the bacon² in a pan until crispy

4. Pat the bacon² dry with paper towels

5. Spread softened butter⁶ between the baguette¹ halves

6. Layer the bacon² into the baguette¹ cavity

7. Top the bacon² with the marinated onions⁵
