Method

  1. Cut the puff pastry into small squares with a sharp knife

  2. Brush each square lightly with oil before arranging in a muffin tin

  3. Press the pastry into the tin in a crisscross pattern

  4. Bake at 350°F (175°C) until golden (about 10 minutes)

  5. Sauté mushrooms, onions3, and cheese for the julienne-style filling

  6. Stir in heavy cream4 and sour5 cream to bind the mixture

  7. Fill1 the baked tart shells with the warm filling
