Method
Prepare: wash the tomato3, dry it, and cut into rounds about 0.5 cm thick; ready the bread and cheese.
Heat a skillet about 20 cm in diameter over medium heat, keeping it dry and uncovered.
Place the bread in the skillet and toast one side until golden, about 2–3 minutes.
Flip the bread, lay a slice of cheese on the toasted side so it aligns with the edge of the bread, and lightly cover with a tomato3 slice.
Lower the heat to low and cover the skillet; cook 2–3 minutes until the cheese melts and the tomatoes3 are warmed.
Remove from heat, transfer the toast to a plate, and serve hot; optionally serve immediately as a standalone dish.
