Method

  1. Spoon the yogurt into a cup or bowl.

  2. Drizzle honey over the surface of the yogurt.

  3. Sprinkle with walnuts3.

  4. Serve at the table, and if desired, top with sliced fruit.

Tips

Why it works
Use room-temperature yogurt so the honey blends smoothly and doesn’t sink to the bottom.
Substitutions
Replace walnuts with 10g chopped almonds or pecans; swap honey for 10g maple syrup if unavailable.
Common mistakes
Over-sweetening makes it cloying. Taste the honey first, then adjust; walnuts should be dry to avoid sogginess.
Storing and reheating
Eat fresh or store for 2 days in the fridge; stir before serving if yogurt separates.
Serve with
Pair with whole-grain toast for breakfast or as a midday pick-me-up with tea.
