Grey rows are pantry staples: salt, oil, spices. They are not counted in the serving price.

Method

  1. Wash the kiwi1 and spinach; peel the kiwi and banana2; cut the kiwi into about 2 cm pieces; cut the banana into about 2 cm pieces; pat the spinach dry.

  2. Combine the kiwi1, banana2, spinach and 150 ml water; blend until smooth.

  3. Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately.

Tips

Why it works
Cut kiwi and banana into 2 cm pieces so they blend evenly without leaving chunks or clogging the blender.
Substitutions
Use frozen banana for thickness or swap spinach for 30g frozen peas (adds slight sweetness). Skip water if you prefer a thicker texture.
Common mistakes
Overblending turns the smoothie bitter. Stop when spinach is finely chopped but still green, not brownish.
Storing and reheating
Drink immediately; it oxidizes and loses freshness within 2 hours. Do not refrigerate.
Serve with
Pair with a handful of almonds for crunch or serve after a light lunch to curb afternoon hunger.

In short

  • Marked healthy: the planner picks it more often for the goals “lose weight” and “eat well”.
