Seventy dishes that survive the commute and hold up at lunch: fifteen bowls with chicken, turkey, beef, tuna and chickpeas; twenty-five mains, from buckwheat with mince, plov and navy pasta to cutlets, meatballs, meatloaf, goulash and cabbage rolls; ten wraps and sandwiches, among them shawarma, a chicken wrap, a club sandwich and a roast beef sandwich; eight grain, tuna and bean salads that do not leak; four soups for a thermos; eight snacks from egg muffins to oat cookies.
Every hot dish here keeps two days in the fridge and reheats in a microwave in two minutes, while wraps, sandwiches and grain salads are eaten cold. Every dish has a price per serving, and a week of work lunches comes out well below a week of bought ones. Below are six ready weeks with a total and time.
Cook in the evening for two days at once: half the dishes here carry the “cooked for two days” mark, the planner puts them on dinner and the next day's lunch by itself, and the shopping list accounts for it. Close the container once cooled, pack sauce and dressing apart, and add greens and fresh vegetables in the morning.
What not to take: strong-smelling fish, dishes with raw onion and garlic, anything that leaks. The fish cutlets and mackerel salad in this collection are eaten cold, so nothing smells when reheating. For a shift or a trip, wraps, sandwiches and snacks that need no reheating are the ones to take.

A club sandwich, a roast beef sandwich, a chicken wrap, tuna pasta, tuna and bean salad, Stolichny salad, a chicken lavash roll, egg muffins. The no-microwave week above is eaten cold in full.
Buckwheat with mince, navy pasta, lentil or pea soup in a thermos, an egg sandwich: the budget week above. Grains with mince and legume soups are the cheapest; bowls with salmon and beef the priciest.
For a day without a fridge, take what does not spoil by evening: chicken wraps and sandwiches, a lavash roll, egg muffins, eggs with hummus, oat muffins and cookies, an apple with nuts. Meat in sauce and salads with mayonnaise stay at home.
Hot dishes with grain and meat, two days in the fridge if put there cooled; grain and tuna salads, a day; wraps and sandwiches are assembled in the morning. Every Racion recipe shows how many days it keeps cooked and whether it can be frozen.
